MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. The chairman of the Russian State Duma’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Alexey Pushkov, is certain that unilateral demarcation of the border will spell many problems for Ukraine.
In his opinion, the decision in favor of unilateral demarcation will be wrong for Ukraine itself.
“If you wish to have a bundle of problems after unilateral demarcation, then this is the correct path. But if the intention is to turn the border into a factor for stability, then the demarcation efforts must be joint,” Pushkov told a news conference.
The Ukrainian government on Wednesday endorsed a decision to carry out the unilateral demarcation of the border with Russia.
