The reports of British woman terrorist Samantha Lewthwaite allegedly killed in eastern Ukraine are being checked

LUHANSK, November 13. /TASS/. Lugansk militias have no information about the alleged killing of a British woman terrorist, Samantha Lewthwaite, dubbed the "White Widow," deputy commander of people’s militia of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic Vitaly Kiselev said on Thursday.

“Yes, we have read these reports. Now, I cannot confirm them, since they are currently being checked,” he said.

Earlier, a spokesperson for the British Foreign Office told ITV News that the Foreign Office was checking information about Lewthwaite’s death.

Lewthwaite, 30, who was reported last month to be fighting for Islamic State terrorists in Syria, was allegedly shot dead two weeks ago in eastern Ukraine, according to unverified reports coming on Wednesday. One of the world’s most wanted terrorists, she reportedly fought on the side of the Ukrainian battalion Aidar as a sniper. She has also been linked to Islamic terror group al-Shabaab that was behind a shopping mall in Nairobi, Kenya, in 2013.
