The UN commission intended to investigate the Israeli army’s actions in the Gaza Strip during the 51-day Operation Protective Edge

TEL AVIV, November 13. /TASS/. Israel refused entry for members of a commission formed by the UN Human Rights Council to investigate the army’s actions in the Gaza Strip during the 51-day Operation Protective Edge, Israeli mass media said on Thursday.

Members of the commission arrived in the Jordanian capital of Amman and then they asked the Israeli authorities for permission to enter the country. On Wednesday evening, the Israeli authorities refused them. Thus, Israel said it would not cooperate with the UNHRC commission, media said.

This is not the first commission that the UNHRC creates to investigate the Israeli state’s actions. Israel does not recognise them and calls these actions counterproductive.
