The missile production plants in Syria were built by Iran and the missiles manufactured at those plants were designed by Iran, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said in an interview with the FARS news agency.

He also said that Iran provided missile-production training for the Lebanese Hezbollah and the Palestinian resistance.

Deputy Head of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Officer Training College said in September that Iran was among the world's top missile powers. He said that Iran had grown into the world's sixth missile power.
