No return measures have been taken to release militiamen held captive by Kiev

LUHANSK, November 11. /TASS/. Militias of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic on Tuesday handed over four wounded servicemen to Kiev.

The Luhansk republic has initiated this move. No return measures have been taken to release militiamen held captive by Kiev.

“These are fighters of the Aidar battalion. They were taken to hospital in grave condition. As of today their condition has normalized. A decision has been taken to hand them over to Kiev. It is a goodwill gesture,” deputy commander of the Luhansk people’s militia Vitaly Kiselyov said.

The last time self-defense forces of the Luhansk republic and the Kiev authorities exchanged prisoners was on Friday November 7.

Seven pro-government soldiers were exchanged for five fighters of the self-defense units. The action took place near a township named Schastye (Happiness).
