Ukrainian parliament coalition agreement text can be made public by November 14
The results of the parliamentary election are to be announced on November 10
KIEV, November 10. /TASS/. The coalition agreement text for parties that have been elected to the parliament after the October 26 snap polls can be made public by November 14, a member of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, Vitaly Kovalchuk, said on Monday.
“We’re planning to make corrections and make the final text of the coalition agreement public on Friday,” he said.
The talks on creating the parliament coalition also involve the People’s Front led by Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the Samopomich party of Lviv Mayor Andriy Savody, Oleh Lyashko’s Radical Party and Yulia Tymoshenko’s Batkivshchyna party.
Early parliamentary elections in Ukraine were held on October 26. The voting results are to be announced on November 10. The balance of forces in the new parliament is clear already now: the Petro Poroshenko Bloc is expected to have 132 seats, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk’s People’s Front is to have 82 seats, the Samopomich (Self-assistance) party - 33 seats, the Opposition Bloc - 29 seats, Oleh Lyashko’s Radical Party 22 seats, and Yulia Tymoshenko’s Batkivshchyna (Fatherland) - 19 seats.
