LONDON, November 6. /TASS/. At least five people were arrested during Wednesday's Mask March in London. Several thousand people took part in the protest against capitalism organized by the Anonymous hacktivist group.

The faces of many protesters were hidden under the Guy Fawkes’s masks – the symbols of anti-globalist and anti-capitalist movements.

Participants of the rally protested against mass surveillance by the security services, cutting budget expenditures, rise of utility bills and violation of civil rights. One of the protester’s posters said: “One solution, revolution”.

This protest action was like a flash mob. The participants turned up in the center of London following the message of anonymous organizers in social networks. Organizers said similar rallies were held in 400 cities around the world, including Washington, Chicago, Vancouver, Tel- Aviv, Paris, Dublin and Sydney.
Last year, the Anonymous hacker group held a similar demonstration in the center of London.
