KIEV, October 26. /TASS/. As of 5 p.m. Moscow time voting turnout in early parliamentary elections in Ukraine reached 30.32% on the average, the Central Election Commission (CEC) said on Sunday referring to the territorial election commissions’ data.

The turnout in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions remains lowest with 28.41% in the Donetsk region and 23.16% in the Luhansk region.

The turnout in the Odessa region is not high: 25.24% of people voted.

According to the existing data, the turnout is reaching its maximum in the Chernihiv region, northern Ukraine, with 48.64%

A total of 43.28% voted in the Poltava region, 42.75% of people took part in the voting in the Kiev region. The turnout in the Zaporizhye amounted to 36.75%

The turnout increased to 28.15% in the Transcarpathian region. Earlier, the turnout was noted to be minimal with 12.2% as of 1:00 p.m. local time.

A total of 25.24% of people voted in the Odessa region.

Over 34.6 million people are eligible to vote.

Over 32,000 polling stations work in the country and other 112 polling stations are opened in 72 countries to allow Ukrainian citizens to vote.

Totally, 6,436 candidates pretend to take seats in the Verkhovna Rada.

Under the law, 50% of deputies are elected on party lists and 50% on single-member constituencies.
