BRUSSELS, October 24. /TASS/. Former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden dreams of going back to US and continuing human rights work. He announced it during Thursday's video conference at the Liberty Festival, taking place in the Belgian capital, Brussels.

When asked about his future, Snowden immediately answered he wants to go home to this family. Besides, he said he is eager to get his job back.

Snowden said he realizes that he cannot change the world of technology and politics all on his own.

In June 2013 Snowden left the US for Hong Kong and leaked secret information about a global electronic surveillance program conducted by the US government.

Then he left for Moscow, and on August 1, 2013, Russian authorities granted him temporary asylum.
