Eastern Ukraine's Donetsk was heavily shelled over night to Wednesday

DONETSK, October 22. /TASS/. The shelling in Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, has left one civilian dead and five injured in the last 24 hours, the Donetsk City Council’s press service said on Wednesday.

“The night from October 21 to October 22 was very tense in the city,” the press service said.

“Salvos and explosions have been heard periodically” in the Kirovsky and Kievsky districts, it said.

According to the UN data of October 8 (latest report), over 300 people have been killed since the ceasefire was announced in eastern Ukraine on September 5.

No large-scale armed hostilities have been reported in Donbass as a whole, the UN said.
