Ukrainian government facilitates access to state secret for NATO experts

KIEV, October 1 /TASS/. Ukraine has facilitated the access to its state secrets for a group of NATO advisers, Ostap Semerak, a minister in Ukraine’s cabinet of ministers, said after a government meeting on Wednesday.
The group of NATO advisers has already arrived in Ukraine as part of the previous agreements reached by Ukraine’s Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk and NATO’s Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.
“The government considered and approved a number of bills and draft resolutions that regulate our relations with NATO experts and give them free access to documents and the right to work with them in premises with or without the presence of accompanying persons,” Semerak explained.
He said the Wednesday-passed decisions would significantly facilitate Ukraine’s cooperation with NATO; reveal their friendly ties and help Ukraine build a more effective and qualitative security schemes.
