Poroshenko: Ukraine-EU association agreement to come into force from November 1

KIEV, September 28. /ITAR-TASS/. The association agreement between Ukraine and the European Union will fully come into force from November 1, 2014, Ukrainian President Petr Poroshenko said on Sunday.
“There will be no return to the past,” Poroshenko said in an interview with the 1+1 television channel. “The agreement comes into full force from November 1 of the current year. There will be no delays, nothing of the kind. In the course of talks, we were granted the right to protect our market.”
The Ukrainian president called the agreement an “outstanding victory of the Ukrainian diplomacy in close cooperation with the European diplomacy.”
“We were granted access to the European market and have preserved our positions. The text of the agreement was signed with absolutely no chamges and comes into force,” he stressed.
