MOSCOW, September 24. /ITAR-TASS/. International human rights movement, the World Without Nazism, is demanding a broad investigation, involving human rights activists, in an effort to find those behind the killings of civilians near Donetsk.

“The World Without Nazism expresses a decisive protest against Ukrainian authorities who carried out a punitive operation against civilians in the southeastern regions of the country and allowed the atrocity against hostages, among whom, as reports say, were civilians,” the Moscow-based organization said in a statement.

The organization demands that the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and other international groups join the exhumation of the bodies and further investigative activities.

“We are deeply convinced that there is a need to carry out the broadest international investigation of the events with participation of all the interested political structures, human rights and international organizations and also mass media,” the group, led by Boris Spiegel, said.

The movement has called on the members of the European Parliament, the lawmakers of national parliaments of all the world countries as well as the leadership of the Council of Europe, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) to “take all the possible steps to investigate this case, find and punish those guilty.”

Militias of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) found a mass grave at a forest depot of Kommunar mine 60 kilometers from the regional center of Donetsk. A spokesman for the DPR militias said that several days before units of Ukraine’s National Guard had stayed in that area.

Russia’s Investigative Committee plans to launch an inquiry into the discovered mass burial of civilians near Donetsk as part of the criminal case into the war in southeastern Ukraine, official spokesman Vladimir Markin said.

The World Without Nazism group says its task is to organize an international monitoring of modern Nazis and the facts of discrimination based on nationality, religion, culture and geographic origin.
