MOSCOW, September 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Gaza needs $6 billion for the reconstruction after Israel's military operation, Palestinian Ambassador to Russia Fayed Mustafa said on Wednesday.

"The consequences /of Israel's operation/ for Gaza have been catastrophic," the ambassador said adding that financial aid to the Palestinian territory would be discussed at an international conference in Cairo on October 12.

"A Russian delegation will take part in the conference," he said.
