EDINBURGH, September 19. /ITAR-TASS/. The capital of Scotland Edinburgh has voted against Scotland’s independence from the UK. The secession was supported by 39% of the voters and 61% were against, according to the preliminary results of a referendum.

There were 378,000 voters on Edinburgh’s voting lists. The voter turnout was 84%
