WASHINGTON, September 18 /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said on Thursday that he was ready to grant broad rights to southeast Ukraine.

“I am ready to give the separatists more rights than any other part of Ukraine ever had in the history of Ukrainian nation. If the war is about rights and not geopolitical ambitions, then we are going to find a solution,” Poroshenko said addressing a joint meeting of both houses of the U.S. Congress which he attended at the invitation of American lawmakers.
