Life in Ukraine's eastern regions during the ceasefire between government forces and self-defense militia fighters
On September 5 Russia, Ukraine and the OSCE, together with representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s republics reached an agreement in Minsk on a ceasefire in Ukraine’s embattled eastern regions. The most recent UN report says no less than 3,171 have been killed and over 8,000 have been wounded in the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine since its beginning in April.
