Russia to send second humanitarian convoy to Ukraine on September 13

The convoy has been waiting for three weeks in Russia's Rostov Region to cross the Ukrainian border

LUHANSK, September 12. /ITAR-TASS/. A second Russian humanitarian convoy will head for Luhansk, eastern Ukraine, on September 13, the press center of Novorossia, the union of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk republics, said on Friday.

The convoy has been waiting for three weeks in Russia's Rostov Region to cross the Ukrainian border, the press center said.

Russian Deputy Emergencies Minister Vladimir Stepanov said earlier that the 2,000-ton humanitarian cargo contained food, generators, water purifiers and other essentials.

The first humanitarian cargo was delivered from Russia to the crisis-hit Ukrainian regions on August 22.
