KIEV, September 11. /ITAR-TASS/. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will submit the EU Association Agreement to the country's parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, for ratification on September 16, Rada speaker Oleksandr Turchynov said on Thursday.

Turchinov said that the parliament would vote on the issue immediately.

"President Poroshenko has said that the simultaneous ratification was coordinated with the European parliament. Anyway we have no right to postpone the ratification any longer," the speaker said.

The European parliament's press service told ITAR-TASS last week that the Association Agreement will be ratified during the parliament's session on September 15-18.

Ukraine and the European Union signed the political provisions of the Association Agreement, while the economic part was signed in June.
