India successfully tests ballistic missile

Previous successful tests Agni-1 were carried out in July 2012

NEW DELHI, September 11./ITAR-TASS/. India successfully tested nuclear weapons capable ballistic missile Agni-1, news agency IANS reported.

Missile launch, range is up to 700 km, took place from the landfill on the island of Wheeler in the Bay of Bengal.

"The trial was totally successful", Commander polygon said.

Previous successful tests Agni-1 were carried out at this place in July 2012. The missile has already been inducted into the Indian Army.
