MOSCOW, September 09./ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin, who had a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko on Tuesday, reiterated Russia’s commitment to promote peace settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, the Kremlin press service reported.

The two presidents stressed the importance of efforts by the parties to the Ukrainian conflict to ensure a sustainable ceasefire regime in eastern Ukraine.

Ukraine is working on a roadmap to outline practical steps to be made in order to implement each provision of the protocol signed after the Minsk consultations of the Contact Group on Ukraine on September 5.
