Snap election in Ukraine to cost $73.6 million

KIEV, September 09. /ITAR-TASS/. Early elections to Ukraine's parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, will cost the country some $73.6 million, the Ukrainian government said on Tuesday.
The money will be allocated from the reserve fund of the Ukrainian budget and the country's Central Election Commission will have to present a report on the spending by December 10, 2014.
The election was scheduled for October 26 after President Petro Poroshenko dissolved the Verkhovna Rada on August 25 in a move to clean the parliament from the allies of his predecessor, Viktor Yanukovych.
The election campaign in Ukraine kicked off on August 28.
