GENEVA, September 09. /ITAR-TASS/. The death toll from the Ebola outbreak in West Africa has reached 2,296, the World Health Organization said on Tuesday.

The WHO said a total of 4,293 Ebola cases were reported in Nigeria, Guinea, Senegal, Liberia and Sierra-Leone.

The worst Ebola outbreak in history began in December 2013.
