Unexploded ammunition found in Russia territory near Ukrainian border

A local villager found an artillery warhead a kilometer away from the border and 2.5 km from a residential site

ROSTOV-ON-DON, September 5./ITAR-TASS/. Unexploded ammunition of Uragan and Grad multiple rocket launchers were found in Russia’s Rostov region near the Ukrainian border, the regional department for emergencies said.

Two Grad rockets were found three km away from the village of Malokirsanovka, and three Uragan projectiles were found by a farm’s chief agronomist 500 metres close to the village of Rozhdestvensky, the department said.

When patrolling a border area, border guards found a wire trap with a grenade on a former road in a forest line.
