NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen says NATO member-states have the right to decide independently whether to supply weapons to Ukraine
NEWPORT (Wales), September 04. /ITAR-TASS/. Partnership between Ukraine and NATO in the future will become even closer, NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said Thursday while opening a session of the NATO-Ukraine commission at a summit in Wales attended by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
NATO member-states have the right to decide independently whether to supply weapons to Ukraine, Rasmussen said.
The Alliance will support military reforms in Ukraine and help it build a strong army, the secretary general added.
