MINSK, September 01. /ITAR-TASS/. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Monday the meeting between the Customs Union leaders, the EU and Ukraine in Minsk on August 26 helped the parties start a direct dialogue on burning problems.
“The Minsk meeting allowed the parties to discuss pressing issues jointly,” Lukashenko said in a telephone conversation with his Serbian counterpart Tomislav Nicolic.
Lukashenko told the Serbian counterpart about the regular round of the contact group meeting (Russia-OSCE-Ukraine).
Nicolic said he praised cooperation between Serbia and Belarus due to the country’s presidency in the OSCE in 2015.
