MOSCOW, August 21. /ITAR-TASS/. The International Committee for the Red Cross has taken all measures to ensure the Russian humanitarian cargo delivery to Ukraine, a senior ICRC official said on Thursday.

ICRC Head of Operations for Europe and Central Asia Laurent Corbaz said he hopes that the convoy will depart to Ukraine on Friday.

Corbaz also urged the conflicting sides in Ukraine to have mercy on the civilian population and facilities.
