DONETSK, August 18./ITAR-TASS/. A trunk gas pipeline and its extension have been damaged in the eastern Donetsk and Luhansk region during fighting, the press service of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) said on Monday.

Several compressor stations were also damaged.

Repair teams are ready to begin fixing the pipelines and equipment as soon as the security situation allows, the press service said.
