Red Cross representatives inspect random trucks carrying relief cargo to Ukraine

KAMENSK-SHAKHTINSKY, August 17 /ITAR-TASS/. Representatives of the International Committee for the Red Cross (ICRC) started random inspection of the trucks in a relief convoy bound for war-torn eastern Ukraine, ITAR-TASS reports from the scene.

Head of ICRC regional delegation for Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova Pascal Cuttat told reporters earlier, the organisation’s staff would inspect in the Russian territory the cargo delivered by white KAMAZ tucks.

Russia sent out the relief to Ukraine on August 12. The convoy unites 262 trucks carrying about 2,000 tonnes of food, medicines and every-day goods.
