All broadcasting will be in English and soon also in Russian
KIEV, August 14./ITAR-TASS/. The international TV news channel Ukraine Today can start broadcasting on August 24, the Ukrainian Independent Information Agency (UNIAN) said on Thursday.
The satellite channel will cover events in Ukraine abroad.
All broadcasting will be in English and in future also in Russian.
Ukraine Today will become available in Europe this year and in the United States in 2015.
According to earlier reports, one of the major Ukrainian media holdings, 1+1 Media, was planning to launch the channel in test mode on August 11. Tatyana Pushnova, TSN chief editor since September 2011, has been appointed the channel’s general producer.
