KIEV, August 08, /ITAR-TASS/. Ukraine’s President Pyotr Poroshenko on Friday signed a parliament-approved bill designed to increase the age limit for reservists into law, the presidential press service reported on Friday.
The age limit for reservists liable for military service has been increased from 50 to 60 years for privates, sergeants and sergeant-majors; from 55 to 60 years for junior and senior officers and up to 65 years for general officers.
Ukrainian deputies voted for the bill on July 22.
