West sanctions targeted personally against President Putin — vice premier
I think everybody understands that the head of state needs our backing, he adds
MOSCOW, August 07. /ITAR-TASS/. Sanctions of the West are targeted personally against President Vladimir Putin, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said on Thursday.
He added that in this situation the president needed backing.
“All the sanctions that are imposed on Russia are also largely targeted against the president of the Russian Federation,” Rogozin said, introducing new leadership of the Khrunichev State Research and Production Space Centre. “In this situation, I think everybody understands that the head of state needs our backing, because he has assumed the entire responsibility in this difficult period and we should help him withstand this pressure and win,” the Russian vice premier said.
Rogozin told Khrunichev Space Centre’s personnel they should realise, fulfilling their professional specific tasks, testing carrier rockets and supplying equipment for the second launch pad of the Vostochny cosmodrome, that it is necessary to be consolidated in their actions in this situation and work based on the single concept and absolute national solidarity.
