Japan regrets Russia halting agriculture imports

Putin ordered his government to come up with a list of goods to be banned for imports into Russia and take measures to control food prices

TOKYO, August 7 (Itar-Tass) - The Japanese government regrets that Russia has decided to halt agriculture exports from countries that have supported anti-Russian sanctions, Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga told a press conference on Thursday.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on Wednesday banning or limiting imports of agricultural products from countries which have imposed sanctions on Russia.

Putin ordered his government to come up with a list of goods to be banned for imports into Russia and take measures to control food prices.
