International experts working on Boeing crash site ask local people for help

More than 200 bodies were found by representatives of the self-defense forces who have been controlling the territory where the Boeing crashed

The HAGUE, August 06. /ITAR-TASS/. International experts, who have been working on the Boeing crash site in Ukraine, have asked local residents for help, the ministry of justice and security of the Netherlands said Wednesday.

According to the source, the Dutch, Australian and Malaysian experts jointly with OSCE representatives have circulated leaflets among the local residents of the settlement of Rassypnoye near the crash site, asking the local population to render assistance in the search for the remains of the victims of the catastrophe and their belongings. Onlookers who had watched the tragedy were asked to describe in detail what they had seen, the source said.

Earlier, an OSCE spokesman said that more than a hundred experts have been working on the crash site since August 1.

More than 200 bodies were found by representatives of the self-defense forces who have been controlling the territory where the Boeing crashed.

The Boeing-777 owned by the Malaysia Airlines company, crashed on July 17 when it was performing a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala-Lumpur. There were no survivors.
