Gunfire-broken Russia’s TV broadcasts restored in Donetsk
Emergency teams have primarily restored broken power lines
KIEV, August 03, 14:52 /ITAR-TASS/. Broadcasting of Russian TV channels broken Saturday due to shelling on the city of Donetsk was restored in the city.
“Shelling has cut power supply to a TV broadcasting tower situated in Petrovsky district of Donetsk, disrupting Russian TV analogue broadcasting,” Internet portal Donbass News said, adding that “According to reports at 6am GMT, 22 transformer substations in Petrovsky and Kirovsky districts resumed operation in the city of Donetsk. Emergency teams have primarily restored broken power lines which give power supply to Petrovsky and Yuzhny water supply facilities.”
Power supplies were restored for ten high-rise residential houses in a regional settlement, three five-storey residential houses in another settlement and a local power substation. As many as 167 multi-storey residential houses and 2,300 private houses remain without electricity in the region.
