DUSHANBE, July 30. /ITAR-TASS/. President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev plans to pay a state visit to Russia shortly, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdylbayev said on Wednesday.

Abdylbayev held a meeting with Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the sidelines of a ministerial meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Abdylbayev said the preparation of the Kyrgyz president’s state visit to Russia was among the key topics of the talks.
