DONETSK, July 30. /ITAR-TASS/. The Ukrainian army is using phosphorous bombs against civilians as it continues security operation against Ukraine’s Donbas region. The press service of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic reported on Wednesday that a Ukrainian aircraft had dropped a phosphorous bomb near the Krasnaya Zvezda mine in the town of Makeyevka.

Local residents said Ukrainian aircraft, flying the same route, kept dropping phosphorous bombs on the village of Zaroshchenskoye every day. The last bomb fell on Tuesday evening. “After that the plane flew to the northwest,” they said.

A pipe-making plant went on fire after Ukrainian aircraft had delivered air strikes against it in the town of Khartsyzsk,” the Donetsk People’s Republic said.

Ukrainian troopers have deployed 40 tanks and Grad multiple rocket launchers near a former military unit in the village of Beryozovoye, from where they regularly shoot at Donetsk.
