MOSCOW, July 30, 16:59 /ITAR-TASS/. Public and political movement People’s Front of self-proclaimed Republic of Novorossia is probing killings of about ten thousand people near the city of Luhansk, Novorossia People’s Front leaders told a news conference in the Russian capital on Wednesday.

The unrecognised Novorossia People’s Front pledges to report about all crimes of Ukrainian authorities against civilians in southeast Ukraine.

“The People’s Front has set up a committee to investigate crimes of the Kiev regime,” co-chairman of the front Konstantin Dolgov said, adding that “We are keeping the ‘White Book’ (on human rights abuses in war-torn Ukraine) , collecting photos and video records and testimony of eyewitnesses. When Novorossia’s army approaches Kiev, this will take place sooner or later, no criminals will be able to escape justice.”

Actions by Ukrainian army and “punitive squads from special battalions” are taken as genocide under Article 442 of Ukrainian penalty code, Dolgov said. “Troops prefer to bombard residential districts avoiding close-in fighting. This is a typical tactics of American instructors who train Ukrainian troops,” he noted.

Ukrainian troops use the tactics of “squeezing disloyal people” out from the city and from the country as much as possible, First Deputy Prime Minister of Donetsk People’s Republic Andrei Purgin told a news conference in a link-up from Donetsk. “The numerical strength of military forces is not enough to stir up a wave of panics in the city, but sporadic fire at residential districts, water and electric power supply cuts make people pack up their belongings and leave the city,” Purgin said, noting that “a large part of “people disloyal to Kiev authorities” were fleeing to Russia.

The front is investigating crimes committed by current Kiev authorities and may produce evidence for murders of around 10 thousand people near the city of Luhansk soon, chairman of the Novorossia People’s Front executive committee Alexander Zinchenko said.

The Novorossia People’s Front is an organisation founded at a congress of people’s representatives named Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics independent in the city of Donetsk on May 24.
