Over a thousand people have died and almost 3,500 have been wounded since the start of the military operation in eastern Ukraine. Shelling attacks on cities are the most common cause of death, they bring massive casualties among civilians. The number of displaced persons who stay in the country has reached 101,600 — 86% of them have fled violence in the country’s east.
