TEL AVIV, July 28. /ITAR-TASS/. Israel defense forces (Tzahal) suspended active military actions in Gaza Strip indefinitely, Tzahal press office said on Monday.

Any attempt at aggression will not remain unanswered, the press office told ITAR-TASS adding elimination of tunnels in Gaza Strip continued.

The present calm in Gaza Strip was a tactical break, Hamas said on Monday, adding it was not under any ceasefire obligations.

Monday night proved the most tranquil one in Gaza Strip in three weeks since the start of Protective Edge military operation (Operation Resolute Cliff in Hebrew). Hamas launched only one missile during the night, the army press office told ITAR-TASS, while the army had not bombarded the Palestinian enclave before the sunrise.

In the morning, the radicals from Gaza Strip launched a missile into the city of Ashkelon. The Israeli army bombarded the source of attack, the city of Beit Lahia.
