Russian rescuers defuse over 200 explosives in Serbia’s southeast

MOSCOW, July 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian rescuers continue a mining-clearing operation in Serbia, Emergencies Ministry spokesman Alexander Drobyshevsky said on Friday.

Over 200 explosive devices have been defused in the town of Paracin, central Serbia, Drobyshevsky said.

“Specialists inspected the territory and defused 207 explosive devices,” he said.

In May over 138 tonnes of humanitarian aid were delivered to Serbia under the instruction of the Russian government, Drobyshevsky said.
