MOSCOW, July 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Zvezda television channel cannot get in touch with its journalists detained at Tallinn airport’s passport control desk on Friday, Zvezda said on its website.

According to Zvezda, Maxim Gritsenko, a special correspondent, and Vyacheslav Amelyutin, a cameraman, only managed to send a brief SMS saying they had been detained at the passport control desk and that all their personal belongings had been taken from them.

“The journalists, who had arrived in Estonia to provide coverage of the so-called annual meeting of veterans of the 20th Waffen SS division in Sinimae, have been detained at a passport control desk without any explanations. All their belongings were seized. They were deprived of a possibility to get in touch with the editorial desk,” the TV channel said.
