GENEVA, July 25. /ITAR-TASS/. Internally displaced persons has reached 95,473 in Ukraine, spokesman to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Dan McNorton said on Friday.

The UNHCR reports that 130,000 Ukrainian refugees have been deployed in Russia, he said.

Displaced persons, who are seeking shelter in other regions, fled from the conflict-torn eastern Ukrainian regions, McNorton said.

Deputy head of the Russian Federal Migration Service Sergei Kalyuzhny said as of today 2.7 million Ukrainian citizens have come to Russia from the conflict-torn eastern regions.

A total of 4,000 Ukrainians have applied for refugee status and 27,500 people have asked for temporary shelter, he said.

Sixty Russian regions, primarily the Rostov region, accommodate Ukrainian refugees. They put up at their relatives and try to find job, Kalyuzhny said.

According to the Migration Service, the flow of migrants will increase.
