BEIRUT, July 24. /ITAR-TASS/. At least ten people were killed and 159 wounded when Israeli Air Forces delivered a missile strike on a school of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East in the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip, the Al Mayadeen TV channel said citing Palestine medical sources.
The UN-funded schools are sheltering Gaza residents whose houses were destroyed by Israeli bombings.
Since July 8, the day when Israeli army launched its Operation Protective Edge, 721 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip, a spokesman for the Palestine enclave’s healthcare ministry said.
