KIEV, July 23. /ITAR-TASS/. Flight recorders from the Boeing 777 that crashed in the Donetsk Region have been delivered to Britain under control of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Ukrainian Ministry for Regional Development's press office reported on Wednesday.

The black boxes arrived at Farnborough military airport in central England for examination by the international group of specialists in Farnborough laboratory dealing with air accidents with NATO aircraft in Europe.

It was so far impossible to estimate when the examination would end and the results be presented, Farnborough representative told ITAR-TASS, adding special attention would be paid to the second recorder that contains audio information about the flight.

The black boxes were passed to the Ukrainian side but it had no control over them and did not touch them, which had been recorded, the press office said.

The militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic earlier gave the two recorders to Malaysian experts who then passed the black boxes to experts from the Netherlands.

Boeing-777 of Malaysia Airlines heading for Kuala Lumpur from Amsterdam crashed in eastern Ukraine on July 17. All 298 aboard died. Overwhelming majority of the passengers were Dutch citizens (193). The tragedy killed 10 British citizens.
