Malaysian experts arrive in Donetsk region to investigate Boeing crash
Officials from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and experts from the Netherlands are already working at the crash site
DONETSK, July 21./ITAR-TASS/. Malaysian experts have arrived in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR) to investigate the July 17 crash of the Malaysia Airline Boeing-777 passenger plane there.
“Twelve aviation experts from Malaysia have safely arrived in Donetsk,” Andrei Kavtaradze, a member of the DNR Security Council, said on Monday.
Officials from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and experts from the Netherlands are already working at the crash site.
Up to date, 282 bodies and 87 fragments were found at the scene, Andrei Lysenko, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Security and Defence Council, said.
The plane en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region on July 17. All of the 298 people aboard died.
