MOSCOW, July 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian and German high-ranking diplomats have emphasised the need to give international experts access to a Malaysia Boeing 777 crash site.
During a telephone talk on Monday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin and his German counterpart Markus Ederer discussed the crisis in Ukraine and problems related to the investigation of the Boeing 777 tragedy.
“The International Civil Aviation Organisation should control the work of international experts and guarantee their security,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
“The diplomats stressed the need to stop military actions in Ukraine’s southeast and resume consultations between the Contact Group and all parties concerned,” the ministry said.
“This is the essence of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statement. He urged the conflicting parties to immediately cease fire and start talks,” Karasin said.
