KIEV, July 20 /ITAR-TASS/. West Ukrainian residents, mostly women, have blocked a highway near Lvov to protest against sending their children to the area of Kiev’s military operation in Ukraine’s southeast, the Ukrainian UNN news agency reported on Sunday.

The protesters are demanding that the Ukrainian authorities bring wounded soldiers back home for medical treatment.
