LIPETSK, July 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev described US sanctions against Russia as a program of restrictions and deterrence of the country on Friday.
“This is a program of restricting our country, or as it is conventionally said, that of deterrence,” Medvedev said during a visit to Novolipetsk metallurgical plant on Friday. He believes that “no sanctions can ruin our economy".
Medvedev said US sanctions are an “an example of unfair competition” and “it is needed to tackle the situation within the World Trade Organization (WTO) and other international bodies".
