Putin informs Obama on Malaysian jet crash in eastern Ukraine

The Russian president earlier expressed deep condolences to Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak over the Malaysian jet crash on the territory of Ukraine
MOSCOW, July 17. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has informed Barack Obama on the air controlling services' report about the crash of Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 jet in eastern Ukraine on Thursday.
Putin said the report had come in just as they were about to begin their conversation.
The Russian president earlier expressed deep condolences to Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak over the Malaysian jet crash on the territory of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, Malaysian Defense Ministry currently has no confirmations that the Boeing 777 was shot down. Defense Minister Hishammuddin Hussein stated on Thursday that the country's authorities are checking the arriving reports.
